FMS high temperature resistant needle punched felt is a new kind of high temperature resistant material developed by our factory in 1997 and launched in the market in 1998. It is made by mixing and layered composite of no less than two kinds of high temperature resistant fiber to realize higher and newer physical and chemical property. The product name of composite high temperature resistant needle punched filter felt is FMS. The production process and manufacturing technology of FMS have obtained national patent. FMS needle punched filter felt products are featured by high temperature resistance, high strength, acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance and fracture resistance. Through different surface chemical treatment and after-finishing technology, it can be easy to clean dust, and features water and oil repellency and anti-static. The products applicable to different temperature ranges such as 150-200°C, 200-250°C and 250-300°C are available.
FMS filter material has higher wear resistance, fracture resistance and peel strength than glass fiber filter material, and can bear high filtration load. The filtration rate exceeds 1.0m/min and it has low running resistance. Compared with high temperature resistant filter material made from composite chemical fiber, it overcomes the defect of chemical fiber filter material such as high elongation, large deformation, poor temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, owns better dimensional stability and strength, and is cheaper than other high temperature resistant chemical fibers. FMS filter material is a new product developed based on our national conditions. It is widely applied to the fields such as steel, nonferrous metallurgy, chemical industry, carbon black, building material, electric power, etc.
